THE STUDIO

A hobby that turned into fourteen women’s work

Womaa began in 2022 with one woman who had learned this craft as a child, and five artisans working alongside her, some local and some in other states. The first orders came from her personal circle. Within a year, it was running as a business.

Fourteen women make everything today, by hand, from materials sourced by hand. What changed as we grew is the process around the work, not the way it is made.
